One of Jersey’s greatest agricultural achievements. Jersey has the oldest pedigree cattle herd in the World and our cattle are renowned for the quality of their milk. As proud Jerseymen, we maintain a small herd of Jersey cattle and raise our animals slowly, on grassland and meadows that are otherwise not viable for agriculture. Our calves are raised with their mothers, suckling in the meadows and all new calves are kept horned.
