Wildflower Meadows and Floral Orchards

Over the last century, the UK lost around 97% of it's traditional floral meadows. These endangered habitats can support over 45 species of flowers and grasses per square metre. They are critically important environments for countless insects, birds and animals.

We are keen to promote wildflower habitats in Jersey, particularly on marginal land that is not suitable for farming. They have enormous ecological value but they are also beautiful rural environments that can be enjoyed by all.

We plant 10% of our cornfields in wildflowers and have built our expertise in creating and managing wildflower habitats. We've created landscapes for the National Trust and private landowners and can work with you to create and manage wildflower meadows and floral orchards.
